Cary Stalnecker brings over 25 years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, and private wealth management. As Partner and Managing Director of The Aletheia Capital Group at &Partners, he leads a team dedicated to delivering institutional-level investment access and highly personalized wealth strategies for families, business owners, and entrepreneurs.
Before co-founding The Aletheia Capital Group at &Partners, Cary served as Executive Director – Investments with Oppenheimer & Co., where he helped grow Aletheia into a very well respected private-client practices. His work centers on connecting sophisticated investment opportunities with each client’s broader life goals — combining disciplined financial insight with genuine partnership.
Cary began his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank Securities in Chicago, advising global corporations on mergers, acquisitions, IPOs, and capital-markets financings. He later joined Johnson & Johnson, where he held leadership roles in global financial planning and investment analysis.
He earned his MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, completed a General Course at The London School of Economics, and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California.

Outside the office, Cary is a former varsity swimmer and track athlete at USC. He is active in the St. Louis community, serving on nonprofit and educational boards and supporting local youth sports programs. Cary lives in Webster Groves with his wife, Sarah, and their two sons
